About Dr. Kurup |
Dr Asok Kurup graduated with MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1992. He then obtained postgraduate qualifications in internal medicine, which included the Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), Edinburgh, UK in 1997. As he developed a keen interest in infectious diseases, he pursued advanced training in this specialty both locally and in the University of California at San Diego where he was a clinical and research fellow. He was awarded specialist accreditation in infectious diseases from the Ministry of Health Singapore and the Singapore Medical Council in 2001. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) since 2005. |
